Wagga Wagga setting up and travel day!
The Storytelling Workshop on Wiradjuri Country in Wagga Wagga was perfect opportunity to ignite creativity, support each other, draw each other together, and make and tell short stories. The workshop was full of connections, word play, performance, and lots of laughter – supporting young and local women to each other and to their creative side. We thank all the cultural and creative artists for their contributions – in particular Wiradjuri Elders Aunty Mary Atkinson and Aunty Cheryl Penrith for their support. Thank you big time to the great work in the room with the phenomenally talented and extremely flexible Lucy Heffernan from Shopfront Arts Coop. Thank you for the support from to Lee-Anne Hall and her team at Wagga Wagga Gallery and the fabulous space to create.
Stand by for podcast sharing a more pictures from this empowering and inspiring experience! We will be back on 16 March to perform the stories! Tickets released this week!
